I believe that healing and growth flourish in spaces that welcome vulnerability, curiosity, and connection. To me, pleasure, self-understanding, and deep intimacy aren’t luxuries — they’re essential to a fulfilling life.

I offer on-demand classes, live virtual workshops, ongoing group coaching, and individual coaching, all designed to help you reconnect with your body, your desires, and your inner truth. Whether you're just starting your healing journey or you're deep in the work of reclaiming your pleasure and power, I’m here to support you with practical tools, guidance, and care.

This isn’t one-size-fits-all coaching. I meet you exactly where you are. Even the on-demand classes offer a variety of resources or options to create your best path forward. Through a trauma-informed, compassionate, and empowering approach, I’ll help you learn practices that support your nervous system, deepen your relationships (with yourself and others), and help you live with more clarity, intention, and joy.

If you're ready to show up — for yourself, your healing, and the version of life that feels most aligned and alive — I’ll be right here with you, offering the tools, support, and fierce encouragement you need to create real, lasting change.

Hi, I’m Marissa Zumbo (she/they) — a sex educator, life and relationship coach, intimacy coordinator, EMDR practitioner, researcher, meditation teacher, former crisis counselor, and writer. PHEW — what a mouthful. I support people who are struggling with trauma, sex, pleasure, and relationships to (re)discover their sexuality, joy, and sense of self — on their own terms.

My work is deeply personal. I was raped when I was a teenager (in addition to experiencing a lot of nonconsensual touch and unwanted attention as a child). After a solid period of denial (and repression), I began an intensive healing journey through therapy, education, and somatic practices. Along the way, I realized how little most of us are taught about navigating sexual roadblocks, trauma, and the complex layers of intimacy. I first became a sex educator to help myself — and then stayed in the work to help others heal and thrive.

I bring not just training, but lived experience. I’m a pansexual, queer, abled, white, neurodivergent, cisgender (slightly genderqueer) woman. I’ve navigated anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and complex PTSD throughout my life. These parts of my identity shape how I approach this work — with care, empathy, and an understanding that healing is rarely linear.

I also acknowledge that many of my identities afford me privilege. I’m committed to ongoing reflection around how systems of power impact my clients and the communities I serve, and to actively working to dismantle the harm those systems cause.

I currently reside on the unceded land of the Cheyenne, Ute, and Sioux peoples — and I honor the history and resilience of Indigenous communities past and present.

If you're ready to explore pleasure, intimacy, or self-connection with support, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
